Rotor design Sweden

The design company rotor was founded in 1997 in Boras, Sweden, as a collaboration between the textile designers Pia O. Björklund and Magnus Forthmeiier and the ceramist Brigitta Swahn. Since the start it has been important to combine the different competences to a joint collection with the purpose to produce beautiful everyday products to the home.

The philosophy of the company is to procuce everthing in Sweden. The close collaboration with producers and crafsmen is very important ans inspiring. To avoid long distance transports and protecting the invironment is also keywords in the pilosophy of rotor.
